I still read books and occasionaly listen to Radio 4, I've stopped drinking, alcoholic for 40 years, stopped smoking - chain smoking from the age of 11. Books have saved my live.... I was in my local pub reading a book and drinking a pint of water when this idiot comes up and tells me I was being antisocial for reading a book, everyother perao was on their phone checking out facebook or lookng to see whoes on Love Island. I understand how books and words have saved this mans life...
