Don't miss watching this one - it is worth it!

Utterly fascinating story told in person by Nick Yarris in his own words about his journey from being a troubled adolescent to death row inmate.

Highly, highly recommended to watch this one!

Completely agree. Such a compelling and inspirational story!

Amazing story from the real life, the usually suspects !, sorry, no reference to the film, but its so sad thinking that a lot of people still sitting on death row like that, like him, without any or maybe a chance to get declared innocent, thats so sad !

Meh - actually a pretty boring, rambling tale from a real POS. You must be criminals or left wing nuts - or both.

reply

Agreed...plus he's white and articulate and therefore his story is "great" and "compelling", otherwise there would be comments of what he thug he is.

And how long ago was that?

Completely agree - great story telling. And stories like this need to get out there.

The guy is hardly a choir boy, but neither he, nor the film, get overly sentimental about his life beyond the facts.

And yes, he is articulate and white, but that makes the story more compelling in many ways. These same stories play out in countless people of every race and culture. The message can be extrapolated well beyond the specifics of this man and his situation. The justice system does not serve us in the way it should. It can be a brutal machine that chews people up.

This is an important story that can't be ignored.

Not to mention the fact that he never tries to make himself sound like a choir boy in the film. He is frankly honest about the mistakes he made in his youth and often makes a point of mentioning that he was a drug addict for many years.

This film is so simple and yet so effective, truly a captivating film.

Thank you sir. I have tried my best to live in a way now that makes anyone like you who says positive things about me not waste their time. SO to you I say that I hope to always have really earned your respect and I will continue to try and keep it.
I do not understand why some feel like anyone trying to tell their story has to feel a threat to them and I guess that is what happened with the negative comments you very positive thread generated. Do not worry, I have heard it all in the past, I just was so glad you enjoyed the film and you rock sir!
