Does one have to watch DR. WHO in order to enjoy CLASS?

or is CLASS in the same world/universe DR. WHO is in...like a side story or something? i was thinking of checking out this show but i don't watch DR. WHO. thanx for any help/info with this. :)

No You don't have to. Is in the school where Clara was working and in Classic DW his granddaughter was learning. But Doctor is there in one episode. So fare is not that much connected but hope in future seasons. 😊 watch Class is fun
