I'll be honest...

I usually can't stand today's Bollywood movies, and I'm Indian. But I have to admit, after watching this trailer, I was impressed with Amir Khan's dedication. Especially with his physique. He really worked hard and sold out for his role. Great job. Hopefully this sets an example for the other actors/actresses out there and they improve as well.

Without steroids, you can't build that kind of body within 2 months.

there is no reason for steroids, he gained this muscle mass more then 3 years ago (he started his Dhoom 3 shooting in 2012 and in PK still was in shape), for Dangal he just increased fat and then decreased but he kept muscle mass coz he was still working with weights. believe me , if you are rich and working with leading experts, leading optimal life style (dates about testosteron mostly are taken from people that dont exercise regularly)and it is not new for you (he is exersising from 2006 when he was prepaging for Ghajini) - it is possible, I know personally those who achieved it without steroids. he is not tall and endomorph , this also affects his look.
May be body fat can make doubts but it is not so low like in Hritik Roshan photos and there is somekind of natural suplement that he could apply 3 days before shooting (+ no salt and no water).

Endomorphic Ex-Pro bodybuilders like Jay Cutler or Nasser Sonbaty took around 3 months to get into contest shape is all I know. Amir is not a pro builder, not even close. Even with diuretics, in 2 months to get that lean with muscle definition without CGI effects, its highly improbable. After all the body can only produce so much testosterone daily(without external coaxing). Of course its perfectly understandable as a star you wouldn't want to be caught dead confessing to substance abuse.
