Oscar ?

If any movie deserves OSCAR after Lagaan , Dangal is the one.

reply

U must be fooking kiddin me, right? Lagaan was nominated. It didn't win an oscar. At best it could have won an oscar, but only in the foreign films category, get real country boy. ;)

reply

For Oscar is alreagy submited Sarbjit and Dhoni: Untold story, so it can not be nominated. After that next Oscar will be in 2018, so I have doubts that 2016 movie can be submited for 2018.

reply

Taare zameen par release in December 2007 , was submitted for 2009 OSCARS.

reply

It is elligible to be nominated for the oscars in 2018 if submitted by India.

reply

It still can be submitted!

Next year we will see Veeram (Malayalam), Rangoon, Begum Jaan, Hindi Medium, Half Girlfriend, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Simran, Padmavati, Secret Superstar, so it is too early talk about Oscar in 2018.
Dhoni was good movie but can not win Oscar. Sarbjit could be a good movie but it was full of naively cliches, not needed item song and terrible script, also some overacting from Aysh, make up was also backwas and could not do females older. I dont understand how this movie was submited, it is below average even for Bollywood movie.
India can not win Oscar even with best movie of year but thay are not even trying to submit the best of year.I'am waiting for 'Chandamama door ke' but it will release only 26 January 2018.

'Chandamama door ke'

What the heck is that?

Aiming my crossbow at Mahishasur worshipers.

reply

'Chandamama door ke' is Sushant Singh Rajput starrer (also there will be Nawazuddin Siddiqui), director and screenwriter is Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan( he won Indira Gandhi Award for Best First Film of a Director at the 2009 National Film Award). It will be big budget film and first space odyssey in Bollywood. release date 26 January 2018.

bRO, I CAN'T SAY ABOUT OSCAR, BUT THIS MOVIE SURELY DESERVES NATIONAL AWARD.

I think it is a lift up from Chariots of Fire.
I also like his movies and I have to accept your are right. A 7/10 is a good honest score. Totally predictable, especially 1st half.
and yes Aamir Khan getting locked was super cheap!
Though it's up to your taste buds!
