See other posts that mention Laura being a bit old for Jason. Don't think it's a major age difference, but Skyler White may have been the ideal role for her. She would have likely been an ideal age, starting off with Cranston in 2008, and a more challenging mate.
Can you see it?
Yes, her bitchiness would be much more convincing. However, the role of Skyler White required not just being bitchy but also being not very bright (otherwise Skyler would decipher Walt's game from day one). And Anna Gunn was perfect for that combo.

shareNo, I like her just fine. She is a professional actress and was very convincing in portraying her character of a dumb bitchy cow. However, many professional actors are only able to professionally portray themselves. Can't say if this is the case with Anna Gunn.
shareI feel shes more Heisenberg then Skylar, she has the harsh character trait and the way she is transforming is on much the same course Walter took rather then Skylar.
