The acting + no closed captioning

Hey Hallmark Channel,

If you are going to allow your acting team to mumble and have a lot of off screen speaking, remember to include closed captions for the deaf (like myself). Even my excellent lip reading skills could not help save me from turning it off. It didn't appear a worthwhile story.

Captioning worked just fine in SF Bay Area.

Same here in the DC area, no closed captioning. Hallmark Channel, remember who your audience is. The actors were all low talkers and seemed very low key with their emotions for such a super charged situation. Not very well written or acted.

reply

Yeah that made me mad. I get this is a low budget film, but at least make it look like you like each other. They had no emotional connection at all and made it hard for me to want them together. And Colin was in Something Borrowed, so I know he can act the romantic part, but there was nothing. I think Hallmark movies are cute I just wish they would have a little more emotional investment in them.

reply

I'm in the SF Bay Area and there was no captioning.

reply

Hmm, I'm in the DC area and I have captions. The only thing about them was that certain words were spelled different. I caught it twice with "favour" and "cheque." No biggie, just noticed it.
