did anyone catch the scene stolen from Taxi Driver?

Hinckley was inspired by Bickle, since Foster was in the movie. It's called a homage.

Guess you missed the part where Hinkly saw Taxi Driver multiple times and was fascinated by the Bickle character to the point of wearing an old army jacket everywhere and being obsessed with Jodi Foster because of the movie.
