So, did Maya sit for the Louisana Bar exam just for this one client??? And who paid her for defending him for 20 years???

Stretches credulity a bit, doesn't it? In addition, I believe that she would have had to do a semester's worth of coursework in an American law school just to qualify to sit the exam in Louisiana.
