The immigration officials in London

Food for thought. In S2, Jack Ryan goes to London to investigate a private military contractor. He goes through the passport check at Heathrow and is greeted by a Customs officer. "Welcome to London,Mr Ryan."

John Krasinski has revealed on chat shows that he met a rude Customs officer when he visited London. He said that the official took offence that a) Krasinski was married to Emily Blunt and b)that he had starred in the US version of the much loved comedy The Office. Was this his sly dig at the customs guy?

That scene was one of the strangest and wrong depictions ever, ha. First you see the shot from the Heathrow ring road into the air with the passing jet landing overhead. Scene labeled "Heathrow."

Then Jack is walking to the UK border force station with the London Bridge out the left window (!!) and what appears to be a weird skyscraper collection behind it. The view from....Heathrow? Heathrow is way out of town about 18 or more miles from central London where that London Bridge is.

Man they really cut corners on THAT CGI and scene. That big blue blobby "jet" flying past the window wobbling all over the screen like it was trying to make a crash landing was the capper, like animation from a cartoon, but without the detail--it was just a blue outlined mass that nobody filled out into a graphic. Oh good lord. Didn't anybody in the editing room catch that one?

Hilariously awful.

I did not notice that before. Went back and watched that episode again. It is very poor.
