**Spoiler** Raid warning

I actually enjoyed the show for the most part. But when the daughter was given an internet connected device while at the safe house, it bothered me SO MUCH it took me out of the show. Add in the fact that that action is what drove the plot and allowed the bad guy to 100% put his end game plan into action? UGH.

Normally, I can look past all kinds of issues that help the story move along.. in this show alone there seemed to be a "can't chase bad guys if they get more than 100 yards away" rule. OK, I'll accept that.. to move the story forward. But giving the kid an unmonitored DS.. that just seemed lazy.

All that being said, show was good. But its been 2 days since I've finished the episodes and that issue is still bugging me. lol

It was my impression that just sped up his timetable is all.

I hadn’t thought about it in that exact regard (device to the daughter), but the overall result being so convenient Suliman (sp?) realizing wife and girls in the USA and the likelihood Hanin gave him up, that it occurred the very day the raid was coming...that had me raise my eyebrows. It was at the susequent point (hostages left behind and knowing he paid big bucks for them) that I knew what his true plan for the hostages was.

Still, show me a similary themed show/movie without an “how convenient” plot device.

Yeah. This really bothered me too. That CIA woman was a total idiot. She should not be in charge of opening a tin of beans that was already open let alone the family of one of the most wanted terrorists in the world. Goodness knows what other protocols she broke. And they kind of skimmed over it all. 'Ok guys, he was tipped off. Oh well. What's for lunch?' HOW WAS HE BLOODY TIPPED OFF??? This is fairly important. There was no investigation. That dumb woman would be fired.

Yes totally agree was frustrating to watch knowing this was going to happen.

Also the fact it wasn't mentioned again or looked into, he kinda mentioned it to Hanin about how he might of been tipped off (well she came out and denied that she tipped her husband off without really being asked) but failed to check that any of the kids may of made contact either.

It was one of many dumb things but clearly he had it all planned out and the message was incidental. I don't know if hollywood writers are dumb or if they think we are dumb or if they make the characters dumb because they are lazy writers.

Whore we kidding... we got "Joker", now were passing time till Star Wars IX

Also, I would assume the CIA would have eyes on the compound 24/7 in case the terrorist, um, you know, decided to move for whatever reason. I guess the tunnels made that somewhat plausible but c'mon! Tunnels we not unheard of. No one moving around the compound? Hmmm... I guess they're napping.
