Sarah Lancaster

I have been seeing the previews for this movie for a while now on hallmark channel and all the scenes that Sarah are in her acting is horrible. She seems so fake and forced. Maybe once I see the whole movie I will change my mind. She looks beautiful in the movie though.

Agree. She is beautiful in a beauty pageant queen kind of way. Miscast in this. However, I was fascinated by her ability to speak even though her jaw was apparently wired shut. She is perfectly understandable even though she hardly moves her mouth when she talks.

Jamajessie, again, you are correct.

I say again because, after commenting another miserable Christmas movie, and I doubt anything will top: http://tinyurl.com/Christmas-Land-2015

it seems, Hallmark and Christmas TV movies lowered their standards substantially in 2015. Another sterile, lifeless, no chemistry attempt to create emotion, that only by description communicates anything genuine.

Sarah Lancaster is a pretty face, but she needs tight control from director, otherwise, her acting range becomes very limited. If I haven’t seen her in Chuck (TV series) where she was fun and available in her role, judging by this movie alone, I would consider her mediocre at best.

Realization in some parts is so adolescent and superficial, it almost makes you embarrassed to watch and ask yourself, why have I watched this?

Sarah plays a piano for kids, and not even attempt to learn a few simple cords, at lest a glimpse of an illusion, that she can at least articulate one note on a piano. Camera just shows her shoulders moving while on piano. And so many scenes are (again) mechanical and with no life in them. At the end with her children, she has no link, not even a glimpse of being their mother. I can supply no better explanation then either director was very busy, and made this movie in very routine and expedient type of fashion, or they should change profession.

Tis the Season for Love strikes me like making a ten movies, for exact amount of money, and each had to be made in three Days. Everything is there on a paper, but execution is another matter.
