Is denis villenueve involved at all ?

Felt to me like he made the first film what it is,kinda wondering what his involvement is with this one (im not looking forward to this strange sequel"

reply

No. He's not available due to other movie commitments.

yeah...no blunt and no denis...thinking ill wait for DVD

I just saw that they have the same guy who directed Suburra on board, so my expectations are very high.

You know what the Queen said? If I had balls, I'd be King.

This will need to have positive reviews for me to see it in the theater since they're not involved.

You have to let random strangers tell you it's good before you decide to pay to see it with your own money? Why not wait for a trailer and make the decision for yourself? I don't understand this need to "wait for reviews," I couldn't imagine letting some schmoe dictate what I think warrants a viewing or not.

Not even as a Producer?? Weird.

Lose the Game!!!!!!!

Wow wasnt aware he wasnt involved. Makes sense the guy is busy. Hope itll be good

“Sicario” is amazing in virtually every aspect, but Villeneuve’s direction ultimately made that film what it is.... for the most part. That being said, although taking over Villeneuve is certainly no easy task, the trailer for the sequel does show promise.

The mere idea of a film like “Sicario” getting a sequel seems odd, but, I’m all for it. Del Toro and Brolin’s characters were as every bit as interesting as Blunt’s character (Brolin’s is arguable, while Del Toro was perhaps the film’s best character), so they they definitely deserve their own film.
