Chris' and Rod's friend, "Andre" who later was the old white lady's new husband?
It was dark in the opening scene and I kinda remember that guy had like a goatee or beard, whereas the younger black husband dude ("Logan?") was clean shaven.

Easy mistake to make - his demeanor and more importantly his voice are completely different as "Logan" than as Andre
Same with Walter - when he asks Rose for the rifle, he's speaking in a very different voice. I'm surprised she fell for it, in retrospect, having known Walter as both himself and as "Grandpa."
He most certainly is. This dawned on me on my second viewing.
