Showing male rape and the perpetrator getting away with it isn't good, I thought they wanted more people to come forward these days?

Imagine if it were a woman and tne guy who raped her just walkef away without ramifications, feminist would be screaming to boycott...

Hey , I have not seen the film but from the trailers it appeared to be romance type. Feel free to spoil it for me , what exactly happened and what kind of treatment male rape got here. Its hardly likely that it'll get some big theatrical release but I'd like to know.
