My Beloved Smother is absolute crap!!!!

I got a call from my aunt who watched this episode so I got online and watched it. I am the daughter of C E Melvin and lived through this nightmare. This awful attempt at recreating the events is so far from the true story it can only be labeled 'based on true events', and that is where it stops. There is a real documentary titled Killer Legends by Joshua Zeman that does a very good job with the facts. For the record, we were not home that night because it rained and my mom did not think we would have trick or treaters. No candy was handed out from our home. The O'Brien kids were trick or treating with 2 of our neighbors, so there were 4 in the group. We never decorated for halloween and our house did not look ANYTHING like that! This show is pure and simple crap! Don't waste your time with this guy unless you have nothing better to do, which would be sad.
