For a recording contract. Her and only her.

The way the movie portrays the audition, her sisters were all dumpy, while Toni looked beautiful, and with gorgeous makeup done.

I'm assuming this wasn't really the way it was. Don't get me wrong, I've always been a Toni fan. She has a fantastic voice, and well-deserved to be successful.

It's just funny how these TV movies portray things sometimes.

Yeah the TLC movie did something similar they had another member in it initially and in the movie they portray her as completely clueless and without talent just to make their change in the group seem acceptable for us viewers.

And it was silly how when Toni Braxton realised that her contract was messed up they wouldn't blame L.A. REID in the movie instead they blamed it on "people higher up" (ILLUMINATI?)... Come on, L.A. REID knew damn well what contract she was signing and intentionally held information back from her so that HE could get a fatter check.

I mean that's what record-company CEO's do, so I'm not saying that that was "wrong" but to blame the boogey-man is just ridicolous, but then it's a Lifetime movie and they make sure they steer clear away from any controversy.

Somedays you just can't dispose of a bomb.
