Adam ruins death

God damn, what a downer! I stopped watching. Normally this show is amusing (when taken with a grain of salt, of course), I don't need to be reminded that I'm gonna die. I also don't need the explanation of what happens (or rather, doesn't) when I die. Yeesh.

I thought the same thing!

Adamn talked about you during the episode.

Yea this was really not the kind of thing I watch this show for...

You my friend are a coward and the reason the funeral industry can scam thousands of dollars out of those left alive. You should watch this and understand how selfish you are being to not face the facts and get plan for you death so those you care about aren't disadvantaged because of it.

I do wish that they had the trademark "How you can help/fix" regarding death. Like about Organ Donating or Donating Body to Science to help cure some disease or something.

You nailed it.

Ummm, yeah, pretty sure the title of the episode should have given you an idea what topic would be covered.

And yet somehow you thought that a half hour discussing aspects of human death would somehow not make you think about your own mortality... Hmmm...

PS: as some of the comments on Youtube** pointed out, this was actually a PRETTY DAMN BEAUTIFUL HEART-FELT EMOTIONAL *HUMAN* episode. Sure it sucks that opening minute when he does, truly, force you to face the FACT that death will come on day to each of us, and YOU/ME personally.

That makes it ... personal.

But in the end, the brevity of life, the "what does it all mean?" types of questions that human mortality brings up in any mind that is not completely avoiding that inevitability, well... it makes you realize "sometimes you don't know, you may never know, and that's okay".

Beautiful.

I didn't much care for the opening. His depiction of what death is "like" is the opinion of someone who doesn't believe in an afterlife, but then he contradicts himself by showing the "ghost" of the woman who got hit by a truck.
