sweet reminds me of those Hallmark made fo tv movies

Hmm. It was very old school..no pun intended, referring to their age. But in terms of a family movie that in the past the entire family could sit around and watch together without fear of wincing at any explicit scenes.

Which is one of the several reasons that it's so good. But far, far above any Hallmark tv movie.

I liked Hallmark movies especially because they were movies that I remembered the family sitting around and watching around the holidays.

it does have a hallmark feel to it but with much better acting.

I'm watching this at the moment... in lesser hands some of the dialogue and situations would seem corny in the extreme, but with two old pros like Redford and Fonda fitting together so comfortably, it's rather pleasurable.
