The centre of this movie, the device "calisto" is not well explained and didn't feel too dangerous to warrant "spies" involvement...

Townsend agency doesn't feel like a serious agency

Character development is nonexistent, the little details matter.
What kind of engineer is Elana..
"Jane is former MI6, younger recruit ever" the question is how young and how long was she with MI6 and what did she do there..
Sabina is a spoilt apparently rich insecure reckless girl who was "bailed" out by Charlie and that's supposed to convince us that she's some kind of a badass...

Elana murdered Ralph, Ralph was not a bad guy he was just doing his job and we supposed to pretend like it didn't happen...

Elana, Sabina and Jane survived a bomb explosion with bulletproof vests.....

John Bosley didn't have enough motive to become a moron..

This movie had so much potential to be excellent..
In my books it's in the same category as captain Marvel, kinda funny but disappointing with a rating of 4.5/10⭐ at best

They should have stayed away from calling this Charlie's Angels and maybe called it Pussycat Dolls or something

This movie is really more angels-in-training and should've been marketed as such, with a strong aim toward young teens and a few tweaks to the more violent scenes. I feel that would have directed the right audience to theaters and therefore no one would be confused by what they were seeing.
