I though this sounded interesting. Like if a princess escaped for a day what would she do? Turns out nothing exciting. Doesn't go anywhere interesting considering it is New York.

If I had been couped up my whole life I would go crazy. I would try all the foods I never got too (I'm guessing that was probably within held). I would do things I never got too. Sorta like Tom Hanks in Big. Basically a adult kid getting to do whatever I want.

This movie just wasn't believable. The actress portraying the princess was miscast. She was a little long in the tooth to play a sheltered, naive young woman with no experience in the real world. The wide-eyed innocent act didn't work and was kind of ridiculous on her. Plus her mannerisms and hoarse voice didn't help. I think the actress is pretty good in other stuff, just not this.
