For some reason the first episode was available yesterday

So, my wife and I read about this in Entertainment Weekly and seem intrigued. Although not released until today, the first (and remaining) episode was available so we watched it.

EW's review was pretty accurate, and, I am no prude, a disproportionate amount of sex scenes in lieu of actual plot among other issues.

My primary issue is with the "GenCoin" plot device from the "wunderkind" from Stanford (who for some reason moves BACK to Miami rather than stay in the SF area where funding is more plentiful and yet doesn't have any money or a pot to pi$$ in except Mom's garage).

"GenCoin, a digital currency created by a startup which calls it as the future of money. Midway into the trailer, the use of GenCoin diverges from banking the unbanked to the chosen currency of crime, or at least that’s what Crackle tries to portray in the short video. Enter the FBI and one can start drawing parallels between GenCoin and Bitcoin."

Why would the "wunderkind" be so smart yet so stupid to think that her shady currency would be funded by legitimate joint venture capitalists? By its definition, its primary interest will be from criminals.

Thanks LOL. What about the GenCoin plot device? At face value it is a scam device to be exploited by and designed for criminals IMHO.

GenCoin is a paradise for criminals :)
