That's silly, you don't need glasses for 2d movies, lol. I am actually pleased because I am in the "small" town it's being filmed , although small, it's one of the largest tourist towns around. It's a beautiful place to live and raise your family, and many move here to retire. There have been several big box office movies filmed here with well known actors. In fact, the president of the United States visits this area because of the natural beauty. So small town doesn't necessarily mean much.

Yes, I heard also it was North Carolina except it was supposedly inspired by a case that happened in Vidor, Texas some years ago. I remember it only because when you were driving down Interstate-10 in Texas you couldn't miss the billboards.
