Will this be a comedy?

Presumably dark comedy, by McDonagh's previous films and plays - but time will tell.

Doesn't sound like it, based on the plot. I personally wouldn't like it to be even darkly comedic. He did it very well with In Bruges but here, a gritty crime thriller would be more fitting.

I just saw it. It is a very good movie but it isn't a comedy. The trailers gave me the impression that it would be funnier. Regardless it is a very nice film.

Laughed many times, but it's a dark story. Black comedy fits best, I guess.
