Good, but had it's flaws...

Well cast, and well acted, but only fairly well written or filmed (IMO). I had only one beef with Hush:

Given the premise, it's doubtful we're gonna get much communication from psycho dude. And Maddie can't communicate at ALL, other than blood streaked messages on the glass. Then psycho man cuts the lights. This made for a very boring chunk of film with little dialog and unclear visuals, where I kept thinking this really needs to move along somehow. Not because I wanted it to be over, but I just wanted something to happen besides her heavy breathing and his slinking around the darkness. Come on, you gotta hold the viewer's attention.
