Downgrade. I don't get it... why would they ditch the clown?

This movie was a complete downgrade compared to the first movie. They could have left off some of those short stories and expound on some kind of a main story with the masked man but they didn't. And I would have much rather them bring the clown back.

Agreed

Yeah, the clown is the only reason to watch the first film.
Haven't seen this one, but the first one discourages me.

Are you serious? The first one was utter crap. The second movie is so much better and the stories were much more interesting.

I agree they should have kept the clown.

Yea, No Art The Clown?! Wtf? He is what made the 1st film work.

I think the reason why Art the Clown wasn't in this one is because director Damien Leone, who is Art's creator, had nothing to do with this one. Cool thing is that Mr. Leone has been trying to give Art his own feature film, which he has been working on for some time under the working titles The 9th Circle and Terrifier (which are the names of his short films that were featured in the 1st All Hallow's Eve). Last year, he did an Indiegogo campaign for Terrifier, but he didn't get enough money raised. Hopefully he'll find a way to get it out there because I, as many others, believe Art is going to be the next big horror movie badass! No clown has EVER been that terrifying, not even Pennywise! I hate to say that - Tim Curry's performance (as always) was a creepy masterpiece in its own right! Just the psycho-demon-pagliacci clown twist with all the extra gore and sadism made him stand out! Can't wait to see it! Teaser trailer is up on YouTube.

I didn't like the clown - he was annoying, distracting, and totally unnecessary to the plots (a different killer for each story would have been better). Plus, the whole "creepy clown" nonsense trended out like five years ago and is now juvenile and boring. Yawn....

Annoying? If you want an annoying clown, watch Killjoy. I thought Art was very effective and genuinely creepy.
Distracting? Distracted you from what exactly...?
Unnecessary to the plot?! What are you even talking about? He's the main antagonist of the wrap around story!
And there was a different killer every story. Did you even watch the film??? 

First story: the demonic creatures and the devil guy. Second story: the alien. Third story: Art the Clown.

Creepy clowns have been around for centuries and haven't trended out at all. In fact, quite the opposite, if you've been paying any attention to the news lately there have been tons of sightings of people dressed up as clowns all over the states. Plus IT is getting a remake...
I think you're just trying to sound pretentious, but you're really just making yourself sound ignorant. 

As a Producer on Damien Leone's upcoming "Art The Clown" film Terrifier, I cannot stress enough his complete lack of involvement on this cheap knock off of a film. Damien has no association to this film and they've stolen his iconic killer and placed it on the DVD artwork and are claiming he's in the movie when he's not!
Please support our upcoming film "Terrifier" and boycott this!
