Ignorant victim blaming

Most of the few comments on here are about how 'stupid' this girl is.
We get it, if you were groomed, beat, raped, tortured, starved, manipulated, physically and mental exhausted for months you would escape without worry.
Its good to know there's so many people out there that know for a fact that their brain wouldn't allow them to sink into survival mode. Good to know for a fact you'd all escape after the first tiny feeling of doubt. So next time a young naive, previously abused girl gets held captive, raped and tortured let's hope its one of you, because I mean you'll be just fine.

I know its frustrating to watch this and not be able to go back in time and physically tell this girl what to do and when to speak up but that's not possible. I read an interview with Heather and she even said it was a good replication but it was a lot wosre. This was shown on TV when I first aired, you can't show the worst of what happened to her on basic cable.

Until you are actually in a situation like this you cannot say what you would and wouldn't do. Its not actors and its not a movie. All of that abuse you're lightly passing off was real and actually happened to a young girl, in real life. Watching a film of any kind and saying what you'd do different from the characters isn't realistic. Fear does things to the human body and mind.
