Just saw it tonight!

I absolutely loved it! I was riveted. I was moved to tears several times. It is what I believe in already, but if someone on the fence saw this, I believe it paints a convincing argument of what Steven Wise and The Nonhuman Rights Project are working towards. We don't treat our worse criminals the way we treat highly intelligent, emotional, and sentient beings just because they are of a different species. They are innocents! And just like our own human children, they deserve basic rights and respect. Not locked up in cages or zoos or laboratories.

I will recommend this movie to everyone. I am so grateful for all the work that they are doing, and that progress is happening. #angels

I agree with you completely! I also can't believe a Supreme Court Judge came to the Premiere tonight in San Diego. I imagine she came because she was curious and that curiosity is the first step. It starts the conversation - Who is a legal person? I for one can't stop thinking about these sentient creatures that often spend their whole lives trapped at Road Side Zoos, or locked in a cage, or stuck in a tank only to be experimented on or exploited. The work Steven Wise and the Non Human Rights Project is doing is groundbreaking!
