Dunkirk or 1917?
I've seen 1917 and I thought at least the first 3/4 was very good. Is Dunkirk in the same league?

Dunkirk is a better film, better performaces all round.
share1917 was infinitely better. Dunkirk tries for suspense the ENTIRE time and it just never succeeds at it. Also you never care about any of the characters in this movie or even know WTF is supposed to be going on. The only positive thing I can say about it is that the acting and cinematography were good.

Dunkirk has exceptional moments here and there and two out of the three story arcs are half good. 5/10
