Actors who have never seen action

I think the appeal of the war movies from the 1950s right through to the 1970s, was that many of the actors appearing in these movies had seen actual war action.

Many were highly decorated so they were actually living something for real.

So then we come to Dunkirk, a pile of utter cr** I wouldn't watch if you paid me. The sight of pretty boy Harry Styles acting as if he can feel the pain suffered by those involved with WW2 makes me just wanna vomit.

So only cops can play cops? And only serial killers can play serial killers? It’s called acting for a reason.

reply

I completely agree about Harry Styles; an insult to veterans that they should be represented by some nauseating little brat that's good for making 12 year old girls wet and not much else.

The likes of David Niven, Peter Ustinov and Charlton Heston will never appear on screens again... REAL men not the pathetic snow flakes you see on screens these days.

Different times... and obviously you “real” men aren’t too pleased with this fact. But keep crying about the good ol’ days, actual snowflakes.
