Have they ever killed anyone that didn't deserve it?

Hi, I was just wondering, have they ever killed anyone innocent on this show or who did not deserve it, whether by mistake or otherwise? I haven't seen it yet but does anyone know.

I have heard that Dexter DID actually kill some people that didn't deserve to die on some episodes of the show.

But how about here?

They accidentally killed one person but he was an accused rapist so it didn't matter.

But was it proven that the victim here actually WAS a rapist?

By the way, in this show, do they target men or other people who did something other than sexual abuse?

It was heavily implied that he was a rapist but the killing of him did seem unjustified when it happened. They jump and beat rapists but this one fought back a tiny bit and was instantly killed.

They target rapists primarily and they happen to be men, there's a couple examples of good men on the show but most of the male characters are rapists who are just there for the leads to beat up. There's not any big speeches about getting back at "men", there's more emphasis on innocent girls being hurt so they go after "bad men", and there's token female antagonists in one episode but they're not rapists and they dont get beaten as brutally as the male antagonists. The basic plot is essentially a "women vs men" theme but it's handled well enough that it really doesn't feel "man-hating".

They targeted someone in one of the earlier episodes that they later found out was the wrong person. So yes.

Also they only target people who sexually humiliate or sexually abuse. They've never gone after murderers or anyone who would deserve it much more.

The guy they killed was never taken to trial so he was never proven to be guilty as is the case with most of their victims.

reply

They do not set out to murder anyone, just attack them. The guy that was accidentally killed was about to kill Jules and Ophelia defended her. I have never once considered these ladies to be murderers just defenders.

reply

What? So they're vigilantes a bit like Dexter yet unlike him they do NOT kill people?
