A couple of problems of this show

1) What about the parole officer? Thought he was gonna hunt "Pete" down. But no, just introduce Mr. Success, show how tough and obsessed he is, then tell "Pete" he's gonna go back to jail if he doesn't report to him, and let him reschedule a couple of times, and suddenly Mr. Success is no where to be seen.

2) What's with Pete's face when he is with the family? It's like a fake smile, but his eyebrows are frowning. He's always making that face. I wonder if he's awkward or what.

3) About the so-called "twist". TBH, I don't see any twist. Everything is so straightforward. They told the audience that they were gonna con Vince all along. So I really don't see any twist. It would've been so much better if they don't say it to the audience. Maybe pretend they're working with Vince to con Mukherjee, but truly they're trying to get Vince, idk, sth like that.

I wasn't gonna watch this show until I found out Bryan Cranston was in it. His performance in BrBa was stunning. But in this show, like everybody said, too much long speeches.

By the way, too many loose ends that don't help the show and undeveloped characters. Like Taylor and the cheating wife, doesn't help. Vince's bodyguard showing compassion to Eddie, and of coz, the parole officer. Seriously if you don't have much time, this isn't the show you should watch.

One point I will bring up is that the parole officer thing worked fine. The entire show takes place over about a week. He will not check on Pete every day. This is the biggest complaint I see and it is unfounded.

2) That's called "smiling with your eyes". A good way to try to tell if a smile is sincere, by the way. Don't watch the mouth; watch the eyes.

Let's not confuse the character with the actor. That's Ribisi's face. Look at him in other roles. He often has that look on his face.
