Taught Me Some New Facts

I thought the movie was beautiful, a cogent heir to "Koyaanisqatsi", "An Inconvenient Truth" and "Years of Living Dangerously" but the presentation is unique, and it taught me a few things, even tho I am very well versed: in agriculture, the switch from munitions to fertilizer and the switch from nerve gas to pesticides was a critical development effected at the end of WWII leading to factory farming.
The film was also a great balance between problems and solutions, as well as being neatly divided among the 3 largest emitter area: power, transport and food. There was no mention of Ocean Acidification, which I felt was a glaring omission.
Anyone else learn from the movie?
