Teen age girls

I must be one of the few who like this show. However, as a high school teacher and mother of a daughter, I do not like all the rude references the older male characters make about sex with teenage girls. Not that it never happens, but I don't think it is nearly like they are wishing it was. This is supposed to be a comedy and I don't find that funny.

Considering that two of the main characters (and maybe most of the audience) has not matured since graduating high-school, it follows on that they still lust after the same things they did when they were young.

reply

I agree, that's the part of the show that if off-putting & the constant drinking.

reply

Hang out with more guys. It's the way they are.

I agree but I think what the show is communicating is gaping character flaws.

reply

Yeah, Danny Masterson's character comes off really creepy with the underage girls.

reply

Seeing how he ends up with an older woman, think he's just being true to himself as an equal opportunity poon hound.

reply

Good point. Carry on.

Your aversion for older males being attracted to younger females comes from your biological aversion to conpetition for access to resources, especially given the dimorphism of the species, and the recent invention of monagamy. In polygamous society, older and dated women would not be threatened by the sexual competition of the more attractive, fecund, and younger females, as the men would simply add tjem to the household rather than replace the older and less attractive females. This is especially true in a society that leans towards K type selection versus r type, more so than orher population. Unfortunayely, your aversion will not change 200,000 years of evolution and selective pressure for men being attracted to fecundity.

What book did you copy and paste this out of?

I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else

Never spent much time around a working farm, have ya Biddle? These boys are tame compared to some of the daily discussions I heard growing up.
