While i do like the idea of netflix getting into the business of producing more sitcoms with the freedom to use uncensored language, the quality of this show is just terrible! First of all, Kutcher's rediculous attempt at an accent is beyond annoying. And i feel like the exchanges between actors is awkward with a sort of "live theater" feel to it. Def not in a good way, more like what you would expect when taking in a discounted preview show where the actors havent quite got their cues down yet. For instance, when kutcher's character refused to get coffee for his dad, the scene felt forced and inauthentic.

To other people's point about the laugh track, I think it only highlights the poor dialogue exchanges- you know the dialogue SHOULD be funny because of the canned laughter, but the lack of flow between actors just makes everything feel awkward.

I honestly do not understand why so many critics rated this show so highly...this show is something id expect from a lesser streaming service, not Netflix- wtf!?

I'm 45, you asshat. That's why I find San Elliot to be sexy, not Kutcher. And the show, sadly, is genuinely awful. I truly wish it wasn't, because I do love me some Sam.

People on the internet tend to be very over dramatic sometimes. This show was nothing great but certainly not the worst.

It's not the worst show ever. The problem is you expect it to be That 70's show or Two and a half Men... quit complaining when an actor plays a different character.

I know I am replying to the op's post from April, but for the love of all things not effing stupid, this is 2016. Nobody does the blah.blah.blah anymore. As in your title: Worst. Show. EVER. Instant twerp alert. That was lame years ago and it's not getting revived anytime soon.

To be fair to the OP, she managed to avoid a Something Called and It Wants Its Something Back cliche. Not that I'm passionate about being fair to that type of person.

For my part, I'm happy to see so many actors I like working together.

People expect way too much from this. It's a silly sitcom. Someone called it "that 70's ranch," and I think that's pretty much accurate. Really, I think it's unfair to expect more than that. Personally, I think it's better than most of what's on regular cable.

I completely agree.

I loved that 70s show for the exact reason that I love this show. It is NOT the worst show ever.

Sometimes I just want to watch a show that does not make me think, does not stress me out, doesn't have action, has some funny family interactions, and has a good story line.

This show is all of that and more.

I can appreciate where it is going after watching the last episode. The last 8 episodes were really good.

I agree that some stuff is a little drawn out, and the laugh track has got to go for sure (I think that of ALL TV show laugh tracks - they are a bit silly). That being said, I can't wait for the next season. It really is a good show, and speaks to common family struggles and makes light of it.

I think that 7.5 is low for this show - I bet once season 2 comes around, if it keeps getting better as it has, this show will be more than an 8...

Yeah I just saw it not too long ago after I wrote that lol. I can appreciate how realistic the characters are with their flaws but still. I think they could have written for him to handle the situation with him and the two ladies better then he did. Oh well.

Worst review ever. Why can't you just enjoy the show for what it is. I wonder how people would review you given the forum. Sounds like you are probably a self indulgent jerk to me.

For the first time in my life I've witnessed a tv show that I regard as an insult to humanity.
I feel ashamed for the writer and producers of this worthless garbage.
As for the cast, they would be better off workng in porn.
