Why I cant take the Academy Awards too serious...

Because it never recognizes good but "weird" or "unusual" movies!
Where was "The Lobster"? "Victoria"?, "Macbeth"?
And its not the first time it happened. Amazing movies such as "Blue Is The Warmest Color", "A Girl Walkes Home Alone At Night" or "Only Lovers Left Alive" didnt get any attention at all, even though to me they were the best of the year.
So yeah, maybe Im not mainstream enough ;)
