It's about god damn time he won! The man is a musical genius. Only took about 50 years....

I mean he only has like 600 soundtrack/composer credits!

Also love how they didn't even play the hurry up and finish music when he was giving his speech. Tearing up, such an adorable old man.

I agree! He earned every minute of that! I didn't know he couldn't speak English! So glad he won!

The man should had won an Oscar for his The Mission soundtrack 30 years ago.
