How much longer to Stallone's win? This is taking forever.
Jesus.
shareI'm stunned. He didn't win.
shareThat sucks. I was hoping he would win too :(
shareWhy would he win? The guy is an awful actor.
This is a guy who has equalled the number of Worst Actor Oscars at the Razzies. He has been bagged constantly for his acting.
Also, why would he win for "Creed"? He has played Rocky Balboa for six previous films, and was never nominated for the role before (if he was going to win for playing Rocky, it would have been for the first one). It is just Sly doing similar shtick that he has done in the other six films.
Now, Sly might be fine playing Rambo or being in "The Expendables", but it isn't like he has played anything resembling Shakespeare.
Next, you people will be asking for an Oscar for Arnie.
He should be happy the movie Rocky won and leave it at that. So should his fans. It had some heavy competition.

He was nominated in the first film for Best Actor.
shareArnold should have been nominated for The Terminator. He was that good.
shareSo he plays one good role in his career and needs to win an oscar immediately?
shareI don't feel sorry for him. He has his place in movie history, but he isn't a great actor.
And I have read horrible things about him. I don't think he is a good person. He has besmirched his fellow actors with vicious, ugly gossip which has stuck to them for decades.
He had more than 1 good role.
shareAll the actors in the category did better than he did. He got a GG and that is way more than he deserves.

I think "Creed" is nothing original anyway. It is like a black version of the original "Rocky" film, crossed with "Rocky V" (Rocky training a boxer) and Rocky "V" sucked so much that Sly made "Rocky Balboa" as a make-good to the fans, and then said in at least one interview that Rocky V not be considered canon, and that "Rocky Balboa" should be considered the next one after "Rocky IV".
So when you rip off the first film, and then do a storyline where you repeat the plot of the worst Rocky film ever, doesn't make me enjoy it.
