Natalie's Birthday

Okay, so I don't understand this girl. She talks about how she always has her birthday in Vegas. How she invited Shawn and he said he would be there. Everyone arrives, they are getting ready to eat dinner, and there is no Shawn. All of a sudden the phone rings. You hear Natalie literally begging Shawn to show up. "Baby, please, you have to be here! I can't tell everyone you won't be here!" Then you see Nicole text Shawn and tell him he has to show up. I don't know where he was but all of a sudden, in walks Shawn! Then Natalie acts all indifferent, almost annoyed, that he's there. He gives her a big hug and she's almost like "Get off me." He sits down next to her and makes a little speech and gives her beautiful diamond earrings, and she barely thanks him. Then he tells her he has a meeting and has to go, and tells her to have a good time with her friends. I mean, it seems like he has no trust issues whatsoever with her, which is good. Even when they seemed to have broken up and she went to the baseball game with Barbie, she wasn't interested in anyone else. Now they seem to be back together and everything seems fine. I guess it's good she doesn't hang on him and act like that's all she has in life, but a little excitement? Weird. From the way she was acting on the phone to the way she acted when he got there, it just didn't make sense. Just my opinion.
