At least someone could have used "The Google" and done some very basic research. I mean, it would have taken one staff writer ten minutes to do a better job of background research for the Washington, DC area.

They showed what appeared to be Dulles International Airport. One character described it as "an airport near Washington, DC." Huh? Who talks like that? Maybe the Australian writers aren't familiar with the DC-area airports, but the character certainly should sound as if they are.

Dulles was labeled as "Maryland International Airport" onscreen. That's just odd. There is Baltimore-Washington Marshall Airport, near Baltimore and sort of near D.C. But that's not what they showed.

They could have simply looked at Google Maps and browsed around DC. How difficult is that to do these days? There's really no excuse for being so dim-witted about the setting. It's not like the show is set in some remote small town that few people know about.

In the end, these details aren't the most important thing. But they are another sign that the writing/production team isn't that competent or spectacular.

Yeah it's annoying for those of us in this area to see on television shows but honestly even shows like NCIS that are

Filmed in this country get all kinds of stuff wrong. Doesn't even bother me anymore honestly

NCIS is terrible at showing VA/DC/MD they will show an area like Fairfax city as a farmland. when its a giant suburb.. the one show that seems to hit the area pretty good is The Americans

In light of the over-sensitivity of our audience, and their gullibility, vis a vis Orson Welles and that radio program, the production team should choose not to hew too close to reality and its settings.

There is Baltimore-Washington Marshall Airport, ...

Did the authorities choose to lose the 'international' designation the airport used to have?
