It appears I might be the only one, but after 2 episodes I really do like this. To each their own, but I think the hate being thrown at this is extreme. The premise, script, acting, etc are no worse than the better reviewed 12 Monkeys, also on Syfy. It's much better than the ridiculous show, Bitten, that followed it tonight. We're not talking about a premium drama here, but it's fun.
shareI agree 100%. I just finished Ep 2 and came on here to rate it and was shocked when I saw 5.1! I know that one person liking/disliking a show doesn't make it good/bad, but I've seen MANY horrible shows get way better ratings than this and I'm not a particularly picky person when it comes to shows either...I just want to be entertained and left looking forward to the next ep and I'm happy for the most part. I personally find this a refreshing new(as new as things can be nowadays, lol) idea and I'm intrigued to keep watching, I hope the bad rating doesn't turn others off because they'd be missing out on what might turn out to be a great show. With all the reality crap on TV nowadays...why not give this a chance? We're only on the second episode people!!

I just watched the first 2 episodes back to back "on demand" and thought it moved along & flowed very well. I expect a certain level from Hurd(TWD of course) #Vahalla. She is a pretty awesome E.P.- in my opinion. It kept my attention,even as late as I decided to watch them. Lol I was also completely shocked to see it with a 5.1 rating as well. After the first 2 episodes,I feel it's worth a 7.0 rating for sure. It's definitely better than "Bitten" (the acting especially).?I will give new shows 5-6 episodes before "writing it off" so to speak. I will be timing in next week for sure.
Sorry, I didn't have time to write back till now. Yes!!! Bitten!! OMG, I am a HUGE fan of the books! When I heard they were making a series of it, I was ecstatic!! Unfortunately...I have never been more disappointed in a series in my life!! Despite the fact that I really like some of the actors themselves..the casting is horrendous, as well as how they interpreted the characters, the writing..acting...etc.lol. I mean come on...Elena in full hair and make-up and clothes off the runway every episode?! That is the anti-thesis of her character!! And Clay having moral struggles with hurting people?! WHAT? Anyways...I could go on forever and I'm on the wrong board for this, lol, but yes...Bitten was a major disappointment in every way...not surprised it was cancelled and glad to have that spot open for a show that is hopefully much better ;)

Sure if you compare it to Bitten or the one hundred dollar budget Olympus then it's slightly better than dogshït.
shareSo far, I like it well enough to keep watching. It's not the greatest show, I don't really like the lead guy with the missing wife much and the first episode was a bit slow and boring (IMO), but I thought the second episode was better and I'm starting to like Regan and find her interesting.
shareI have to agree, its not good, its not bad, but its watchable. I really don't get the people complaining, this must be the first show that they've watched on SyFy, because its pretty on par with the quality of most of the other shows on SyFy other than the expanse in my opinion.

IDK...some shows will just grab my interest right off. Hunters is tight. Also, the 1st season of Helix was pretty kick ass ! Great premise.
I'm on board for Hunters...more so than I am Killjoys. And whatever is on before that
