The trailer gave me the impression that we're going back to that 90's mentality of how every adult is out there to take away your cool. It completely misrepresents reality and gives a bad message to kids. That mentality creates unneccesary antagonism and distrust between students and teachers, and it encourages an immature behavior that keeps a rift between kids and their parents.

It's just stupid and unrealistic.

Yes, this trailer was cringeworthily bad.
"Creativity has no place in this school", that's something I expect Miss Trunchbull to say and she's allowed to because she's a Roahl Dahl character.
I just hope the movie gets the tone right so these cartoonish characters seem in place.

Disagree with your "this movie will damage kids" nonsense though. Don't think any kid is actually gonna see this movie and then go "I wanna break every rule in school!"
