After reading the book I can honestly say...

Why isn't Todd Solondz making this? After reading the book I felt that Solondz would've been a perfect fit to make this movie what with his dark humor and the whole coming of age theme that was present in Welcome to the Dollhouse.

*beep* movie execs only care about making dumb, dippy family comedies nowadays.
