Secret City Season 2 Critique...

Well, Secret City is an above average thriller series, however, in Season 2 the series characters obviously do not learn from their past and again, the writers are lazy when dealing with important plot issues.

Harriet still talks on her cellular telephone as if it is unable to be monitored while at times treating it as if it IS monitored. It just makes no sense. She also seems to forget her own sage advice of "trust no one."

Some twists are seen a mile away, while others are quite surprising and enjoyable.

Oddly, some threads from the first season go completely unanswered and it takes a bit of time to reveal that the series picks up two years after the end of the first season.
