I'm not sure of the name, but the voice is very very deep, has a cleft chin, and looks like a man with a wig.

Yes, Kim Gordon is a Male to Female transgender who was previously married to Harriet, presumably, they divorced when Kim came out as trans .

This is mentioned in the story and pretty well established across multiple scenes such as at Kim's funeral when her father continually refers to her with male pronouns and calls her by her pre-transition name .

I applaud the show for featuring a trans character.

You are on imdb. The character is played by a man. Can you really not figure out for yourself that the character is transgendered?

I didn't even catch the characters name.

And these days, after Bruce Jenner turned into Caitlyn Jenner... who the F knows what is what! Better to not assume.
