I guess Kirstey Ally has never seen BoJack Horseman

Because if she had, she'd like not agreed to or been allowed to accept a part in this show.

Remind me, what did that show say about her?

It is in the season 2 episode when Todd gets into improv comedy. The theater is right next to a Scientology building. BoJack says that back when he was a Scientologist he read a book on cults.

The gist is that they were using improv comedy as a substitute for Scientology. Scientologists are suppose to distance themselves for anyone connected to criticism of the organization.

Dianne: Oh sh*t. Todd's in a cult.

Todd: What?! No! Improv is not a cult. It is just a dogmatic school of thought taught by a for profit organization with the promise of social and professional opportunities.

BoJack: It's a cult. And I know what I'm talking about. I learned a little about cults during that year I was a Scientologist. 'Cause coincidentally during that year I read a book about cults.

Wanda: Wait, are you saying Scientology is a cult?

BoJack: No. Scientology is not a cult. Improv is a cult. I wanna be very clear. THIS is about IMPROV.

I saw Ticket to Heaven, a movie about cults, in 1981 and joined AA in 1983. I have to admit that there were some similarities, and like every organization, some people who like to take on the role of a leader. In AA they are called bleeding deacons as opposed to the more healthy elder statesmen. My third meeting was a speaker meeting lead by a guy with 38 years who, IMHO, spent two hours talking down to us. At the end, I turned to the guy next to me and said, "if that is what I'm going to be like in 20 years, I think I'd rather drink." He looked at me and said, "for some people, AA can be just as damaging as alcohol." That heretic became my first sponsor.

IMHO, AA is the most perfect socialist organization on the planet. And like all socialist organizations, it works by having a gun pointed at the head, but in this case, the gun is a bottle and the person holding it is also the target. It is also harshly Darwinistic. Look at the 12 traditions. They didn't arise by magic. I am convinced that each one came about from a "we really screwed up this time and we need to write it down so we don't do it again" moment. Unlike the insane person who does the same thing over and over expecting different results, the early people learned from their mistakes.

It's not like Will Arnett created the show Bojack Horseman, or writes for it.

If Kirstie Alley refused to work with anyone who ever appeared on a project that mocked Scientology, she'd have no career left whatsoever.
