Netflix needs to slow down with all their TV shows. I didn't even know this was a thing until it came out. There's just so many now, and I feel like that's making it hard to promote them all. Netflix seriously should cut some shows -- it's beginning to become ridiculous.

shareYes yes I know. I'm not really complaining. I just think they're doing too much in so little time. What I'm saying is I wish they would promote shows more before they release them. Release one show at a time, like every other month or so. Not multiple in one month without any promotion.

shareI mean they're rolling in cash and the only way to get new subscribers is to gain rights to shows or make their own. They said they wanted the number of original programs to be over 30 by the end of the year. And since they don't roll each episode out one week at a time they have to constantly be releasing new stuff. I wouldn't be surprised if their goal was to have 50+ series so they can literally release a new show every Friday. Everyone binges it, waits a week, and binges the next one. Wash, rinse, repeat.
shareAs a business model it makes sense. I bet most people reduce their standards when binge watching, which is possibly more about setting aside a block of time and then filling it up with whatever, as opposed to having to constantly make smaller bits of time available if watching in real time.
