Don’t Think Twice, the latest film from writer/director Mike Birbiglia fits neatly alongside his previous work. It’s both kind and self-deprecating, and examines the precise contours of a subsection of the comedy world. Where his first film, Sleepwalk With Me, dealt with coming up through stand-up comedy, Don’t Think Twice instead looks at the arena of improv. It focuses on a group, The Commune, which is being gently torn apart as one member is pulled up to an SNL-type show.
