Funny, Poignant, True to Life

Don't Think Twice is a wonderful, touching, and funny film about theater and about friendship. I'm a former member of several theater groups, including Comedysportz, and this film brought it all back -- the highs and the lows -- and made me long to be in a theater company again! Terrific acting, seamless directing, great screenplay!!!

It was super accurate. Each character represented an archetype of the typical improv troupe: the leader who has been at it forever but can't catch a break, the one who will do whatever gets him the most attention, the one who enjoys it for what it is and doesn't want to move on, the one who has great ideas but doesn't believe in them, the background type who somehow gets lucky, etc.

Watching this group get torn apart by a stroke of luck (or bad luck depending on who you are) was so real that it was tough to watch. Everyone played their role very well, and seeing it from both sides, where even the guy who makes it has a tough job, was interesting and made you think about it what fame means to you.
