My review, I hope you liked it
I've no idea why this movie was made, it really wasn't much of anything.
Okay just watched the last 20 minutes too
... and then they shoe-horned some feelings into it.
I really liked it. It's quite unique for a western. If you go into it looking for the typical shoot'em up, you'll be disappointment. Were you hoping for explosions too? And maybe a super hero to add excitement?
shareWas it a western even? It seemed at first it was trying to be one, then turn into some kind of survival movie with self-discovery elements, until someone spilled over a barrel and a dude gets his arm cut off.
shareI think you could call it a period piece, it dives into territory that you don't typically see in a western but to me that's what makes the film unique. This is what separates it from other movies in this genre.
